Graco Advanced Fluid Dispense (AFD), a world leader in fluid handling products and systems, announces the new InvisiPac Feed System, specially designed for feeding adhesives to the InvisiPac Tank-Free Hot Melt Delivery System. The new feeding system is the ideal solution for overcoming problems associated with overall adhesive feed reliability and reducing the stickiness and glue clumping that can result in downtime and reduced production. Operating with a vacuum transfer pneumatic pressure range of 40-100 pounds per square inch (psi), the InvisiPac Feed System automatically feeds pellets from the adhesive bin into a fully enclosed chicklet feed hopper that keeps adhesive free of dust and contaminants. An innovative internal shaker with vibrating arms that extend to the edge of the fully enclosed hopper, feeds from the center of the hopper, eliminating adhesive build up on one side or the other, and beaks up clumps, reducing the likelihood of bridging far better than older technology that have external shakers. The internal shaker also reduces air consumption that is needed to support external shakers. Unlike other technologies that stop feeding with as much as 8 to 12 inches of adhesive pellets left in the hopper, the InvisiPac Feed System will feed to within 4 inches of the bottom of the hopper. The system offers simple installation, with a push to connect airline from the InvisiPac system and a quick disconnect vacuum hose that means operators can attach hoses in 20 seconds or less. The optional wheeled feed bin dolly accessory makes it easier than ever to transport the hopper to wherever it is needed.
